If Texas loses tonight it will be a tie for best record. Right now they're beating the Angels 4-2 in the 4th inning. Go Angels!

Tigers win! Man I like watching Valverde celebrate when he ends a game with a strikeout.

Bring on those Yankees! Extra karma points will be awarded to any member on video heckling a sellout yankee fan in Michigan. ;D 100 points if you take the gold sticker off their yankee hat.

Ahhhh, the evil Yankees again. The Tigers gave them a little "who's your daddy?" in the same situation back in '06. Time to do it again.

Sabathia was looking pretty good before this rain delay.

Gee, thanks. Tigers looked nervous. Verlander, Avila, Inge, and Cabrera played nervous. There is no way this game is getting played tonight, now they are talking it's supposed to rain in NY all weekend too

Yup. He's on 3rd, Cabrera 1st Martinez DH. Martinez almost had a base hit, but can't run worth a crap after that last ball to the toe. I take it you missed what was played? Cabrera had a chance to go after a double play but didn't, Inge had a chance to throw the runner out at home, but didn't and Avila was out of it. Missed a block and gave a halfass weak throw to first and didn't get the out. Verlander has a walk and wasn't hitting his mark. Sabathis struckout the side in the first and has 4 strikeouts. Delmon hit a solo homer.

It's official. The rest of the game will be played tomorrow night and game 2 Sunday. they are talking that Verlander and Sabathia won't be able to pitch tomorrow. What the hell? they threw like 30 pitches. I know I'm the new fan, but I still think baseball players are the sissyest of the sports players.

That sucks for us. Really puts us in a pinch not having Verlander to throw two times in this series. i would pitch him tomorrow, if he has any heart he would be willing to. he threw 24 pitches, he should be able to go. Then he would be available for a game 4 or 5.
