i spent just over 3 hours rototilling the new garden today. I was able to rake a lot of the field like type grass out. After busting through all the sod quite a bit I was able to set it deeper and get down about 3 inches but too wet to go deeper. Hopefully it dries out some and I'll be able to get back at it in a few days. Soil looks black and fine with tons of worms, so that's a good start.

I had yesterday and today off. guess how much tilling I got done? I did however transplant a ton of maters, cantaloupe and a couple pumpkins into the containers they will be sold in. I had to throw away the smallest weakest plants and that's hard for me. Just not enough room until I get rid of some.

Fainting goats!
Yeah, a few people at work wanted me to start them cantaloupe plants after trying my Gold Stars last year so I asked around they or anyone else wanted anything else. I'm sure when planting time gets closer I'll have more orders, but as of now I have orders for quite a few tomato and pepper plants, a few watermelon too and ofcourse cantaloupes. I have roughly 30-40 plants of various tomatoes that I bet won't make it into my garden because they will be sold. Gonna be starting a whole 72 cell tray of maters Saturday. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll have more than my costs covered and will start making a couple bucks
