Nope. Isn't that an oxymoron? A Discovery channel show?

You're pretty quick with that oxymoron. ;D History channel show. It's no deadliest catch, but I like it. Talk about some Billy's

What do you watch, Scout? All I've ever heard you talk about is the Tigers and a love for Bieber tv specials.

Mostly I watch whatever my wife has on while I futz around with the computer. When it's The Bachelor, Big Brother or that chit though I head for the other TV in the basement for some Deadliest Catch, Swamp People, Ice Road Truckers, or woodworking shows on PBS. That's the great thing about DVRs. I have at least 100 hours of stuff to watch when Chaz Bono ends up on my livingroom TV. ;D I tried Gold Rush for a while but it bored me. I really liked Flying Wild Alaska last year.

You should try Big Shrimpin. I'm interested is seeing what Mr. Negativity has to say about the show. I like American Pickers too. Speaking of PBS. Have you ever seen where a guy moved out to the middle of nowhere and built his cabin by hand with no power tools? He cut the trees and everything? Can't remember what it's called? He lived there until he was 80 something I think.

Yeah, American Pickers, Pawn Stars, and a few others are good for filler entertainment. I saw a special once about a guy who built himself a cabin in Alaska, all by hand. Can't recall the name of the show though.

That's the one I was talking about. I've watched it 4 or 5 times now, can't turn the channel when I see it's on. You thought you had a cabin project That guy was very skilled. The way he did everything by hand amazed me, he was a s good as the Amish! Lived off the land for the most part. Sure he had some supplies flown in, but he ate the fish he caught, hunted, and even had a little garden in the short summer. Made that jam even. He even carved the spoon and bowls he ate from.

Big shrimpin sucks. It's as bad as lobstermen or that swords show. All stupid. I'm ready for ax men to return. I could watch that Shelby guy all day and can't believe he hasn't gotten his own spin off yet. Anyone watch the league? It's a sitcom on FX based on a fantasy football league, funniest show on tv, even got my wife hooked on it. Lots of smack talking and raunchy sex talk, great show Thursdays at 1030.

I know the show is not the ebst but i will garuntee that most of you couldnt do the work. its very hard and tiresome..i remember doing the Texas open when i was 13 for the first time. Stayed on the back of the boat for 3 days straight picking and heading shrimp..Fun Times!

I'm sure it's hard work, but wouldn't you rather do that than Deadliest catch?
