Plans for this growing season

What are your plans and or goals? Experiments?
I have a new project/experiment I have dreamt up for this season. Made a trip to Home Depot yesterday (in the planning stages), but couldn't get any help. It really is unfortunate how corporately owned retail stores all have gone to short staffing. One employee was visible, but was in the middle of doing an order for another customer and already had others waiting for him. I have alwaays been happy with my local Home Depot so I will give them one more shot before going somewhere else.
I really don't wanna say what this idea is until I get it done, I have never seen this done before. I'm pretty excited about it.
I do have another project I can talk about. A couple of summers ago I grew strawberries in a hanging bag. They grew out of holes in the sides of the bag and the top. On really hot days, I had to water twice a day. I was really surprised how many berries I got from just 12 young plants. I have a bunch of bricks that aren't needed for anything. I'm going to stack them in a square a few feet high with the middle open to fill full of soil with a missing brick every so often on the sides. I will fill with soil until I reach a side hole and put a strawberry plant in there, then fill with soil until the next hole and keep doing so until I reach the top and plant more in te top. I'm going to ut this in the garden in a corner. 12 plants going vertical will take up much less space than12 on the ground.
I know the Magician has been working on new garden plans, let's hear them. Anyone else have plans? OJ?

Just bought some things to start some seeds inside, gonna get that going tomorrow. Gonna put in a few more raised beds shortly, didn't have enough room last year. Gonna do same old same old. Maters, cukes, peppers, beans, already waiting for asparagus, onions, gonna add some Kale to the mix this fall, and some radishes.

I grow, but not vegetable kind. I have my card and have been doing it for a few years legal.

I have snap peas, 3 types of tomatoes, broccoli, and jalepeno peppers started. Have 30 pea plants that are probably 6 inches tall already, waiting on dry weather to transplant them. have 120 seeds started and all are either poking up or are 3-4 inches tall in the indoor greenhouse. The pea plants have to be transplanted a LOT earlier than any of the other plants, their roots grow like crazy. I built a 15x40 garden this year, dug and cemented 4x4s on the corners, 2 posts in the middle of the 4x4s, and of course a door. Gonna put wire around it 4 feet up, then wrap single strand wire through the 4x4s every 5-6 inches to help keep the deer out. Will have peas, beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, lettuce, broc, corn, squash, potatoes and possibly a few other veggies in the garden. Also making an area for blueberries, straw berries and raspberries. With a small herb garden also. Gonna be busy once this weather finally breaks and I can get my ground rototilled, gonna finish the fencing this weekend hopefully and hoping to have all my peas in the ground by mid next week. Gonna try to post a lot more photos this year as I'm excited about the expanded grow!!

Organic or high priced grow shop fertilizers?

I plan to expand a bit this year. Hopefully I will be tilling this weekend or next. I plan to add some more manure and some peat to loosen up some of the deeper clay. I will definitely have maters, multiple types of peppers, zukes, yellow squash, cukes, beans, a few herbs, and who knows what else. Still going organic so hopefully my soil is decent to start. I need to test it again. Good luck everyone.

I doubled the size of mine and am going to experiment with corn in a 4x4 this year.

I also added apple trees and I want to hand some gutters on my garage for a lettuce garden.

Basil, oregano, parsley, no special herbs!!
