Sounds good, love steaks and shrimp on the grill, use the Hawiaan marinade from Lawreys on the shrimp it's fantastic. Sucks about the weather it has been absolutly perfect down here. Sunny and 65 all day. Time to go get some walleye now. ;D

Hey OJ, that Hawaiian sauce is good on walleye too. Just put the eyes on foil and add the marinade, then grill it till it peels apart!

If you try it, add some lemon or lime slices, some pineapple slices if you like it and it will turn out nice. I like to use the pineapple rings and then before I eat them I let the grill flames hit em a bit for the grill flavor. I first tried this with mangrove and yellowtail snapper. Since my supply is very limited with these species I tried walleye and it was great. Nice change of pace when you eat a lot of walleye. Enjoy!

Thanks, yes I am always looking for new ways to cook walleye. I think I will go with the pineapple rings, they seem like they would go good with that marinade. Thanks again Woodeye.

Where did you find alligator? I got my hook ups. ;D Seriously my dad winters in Florida and always bring me some home. He has a buddy down there that takes all he wants, not really a law follower, more of a backyard hillbilly that does what he pleases.

I see. It's not like there is any shortage of them down there. Is there even a hunting season for them in Florida? I remember seeing Michael Waddel get one with a bow once, can't be illegal if they put it on tv.

Yeah, they have a season, but I think your only allowed one, and not sure if they have a commercial season.
