Larger pike have good sized cheeks on them.

walleye have decent cheeks but only if you get good sized ones.... bass have shallow ones but no one eats bass..... i dunno if pike do or not i dont think so maybe shallow ones Actually, bass can be really delicious. You need to filet the meat off of the skin as well to get rid of the gamey taste. What we usually do then is put it in the oven with butter and dill. We'll throw some sauteed onions and mushrooms in as well if we're feeling fancy! ;D
