That's funny. Yesterday Brebs made a complaint about the Flint Gander Mountain on their fb page about poor service he recieved. He of course go no reply for quite awhile. I then jumped in and said that the only times you see an employee in that store is at the gun counter or at the checkout. I then said if you ever go to the back corner of the store you will see the employees goofing off behind the backroom doors. I then said this is all due to the latest restructuring and the employees that actually worked were let go and the store manager kept his golfing buddies (this is true, I know this because I am a former employee from way back and some of the ones let go had been working there since before me and I still know the ones that were kept that golf with the store manager weekly, their schedules are made so they can do so, but I did not mention names) and they feel no fear from him so they constantly hang out in the office. I also let it be known that the page was set up as a means of free advertisement and not for customer care. As soon as that was there for a few minutes, Brebs got a message on it from a higher up corporate woman giving him info on how to contact her directly to give more details on his experience. I see it has been removed from both of our pages. ;D Another social media backfire. Not the first for Gander lately either. tons of complaints during deer season and then the usual complaints about being out of stock of everything you need during the season you need it and many complaints over the ice fishing rods having eyelets all over the rod instead of inline. They get deleted constantly.
