I REALLY hate it when someone tries to micro-manage ME.
I got a new "boss" at my work and SHE likes to try and tell me how to do my job even though ive been there longer than her and know more about what were doing than her.
She is tasked with an essential part of our daily routine and doesnt even acomplish 1/4 of what we need to get done in a day it sets us way behind since I get stuck picking up her slack.
What I do is build kits for air drop loads of food, water and fuel which are dropped at various smaller outposts around Afghanistan.
Every day I come in and it is my job to build 40 "kits" for the loads which you can see in the background of this picture.
The riggers are tasked with tieing up the white cargo nets and attaching the parachutes to the loads which requires special knots and differnt kinds of rope which I dont know how to do (and shouldnt have to since thats NOT MY JOB).
They have to prep anywhere from 30-60 loads a day. There crew has 10 people. Mine has 3. The loads look like this when prepped and ready to go.
The past 3 days they have failed to make there quota so I have been tasked to help them all 3 days. I have learned how to tie all the knots and prep the loads. Which in turn has made my team fall 3 days behind on what were supposed to do! Now that Im 3 days behind guess whose going to help me get caught back up? NO ONE!
This is the crap I got stuck with for going to airborne school and trying to be high speed.
I CAN NOT WAIT to get back to my actual unit so I can get back out on the road.
Home is SO close I can almost taste it...
