Many harmful insects don't like them. I have heard mixed reviews when it comes to deer and critters. We will get to deer and critters later ;D

personally i know deer dont care for them but they will eat something right next to it if they want it........ from my experience with deer vs plants ...... get a dog .... get a gun...... or get a big darn fence

Can't wait for the first garden tomato sliced up and thrown on a burger fresh off the grill.  |

I'm growing Gold Star cantaloupes again for sure, I have seeds from my Honey Rocks from last year so probably a couple of them, but I wanna try a new one this year too. As always, space is an issue  |

Thanks Todd, ya reminded me to get some sunflowers...knew I was gonna forget something! No problem, this is the first year I am trying these red ones. I like a few around the edge of the garden facing the road. It helps hide the weeds! |

to keep the deer out of my garden and out of the food plots till they get up in size i put stakes out every 10 feet or so around it and get bars of ivory soap drill a hole in the soap and put a string through it and hang them and it seems to work very well and for keeping the birds out of my seed till they get up i mount an owl decoy in the middle of the plot

I plan on trying the Ivory soap this year. Good to hear a success story with it.
