Many harmful insects don't like them. I have heard mixed reviews when it comes to deer and critters. We will get to deer and critters later ;D

I'm growing Gold Star cantaloupes again for sure, I have seeds from my Honey Rocks from last year so probably a couple of them, but I wanna try a new one this year too. As always, space is an issue

Thanks Todd, ya reminded me to get some sunflowers...knew I was gonna forget something! No problem, this is the first year I am trying these red ones. I like a few around the edge of the garden facing the road. It helps hide the weeds!

to keep the deer out of my garden and out of the food plots till they get up in size i put stakes out every 10 feet or so around it and get bars of ivory soap drill a hole in the soap and put a string through it and hang them and it seems to work very well and for keeping the birds out of my seed till they get up i mount an owl decoy in the middle of the plot

I plan on trying the Ivory soap this year. Good to hear a success story with it.
